good early morning and hey greg, hey greg, hey greg, hey. this note is to wish you a happy birthday and to say thanks for the beautiful music and stories and memories. may this birthday bring you and yours much joy and health and strength and peace. may it find you in a place that abounds with love and kindness and summer peaches and cold plums and fiddleheads that choose to come back into bloom, just to celebrate your day. see you soon, will be listening. joe

Just found Who Whoulda Think It on YouTube. I've loved this song, and how you sing it, for so long. Don't remember when exactly I first heard it, but I know my monthly CompuServe bill was more than my mortgage payment at the time, so I will guess around 1988 maybe? Glad to hear your music again!!

Greg, You and a few others are a large part of how I survived the 1980s, that horrible decade of "Greed is good, nukes are necessary, and let's send white phosphorus to rain on El Salvador's farmers!" Nestled in Decorah, IA, working at the Café Deluxe, I listened regularly to your songs and held on to what was true and good in life. Hope you and yours are well.

What a pleasure to be at your concert this past Saturday at Narrows Center for the Arts, Fall River, MA. Third time seeing you perform there. Have spent decades listening to your music. I was fortunate enough to speak with you after the show, but like an idiot didn't say what I wanted to - you are the most amazing musician! Truly my favorite musician, you sing with your heart and soul and it resonants with me. Thank you for being the great singer songwriter you are and thanks for your willingness to share your gift. See you at Seed Savers concert this summer!

Thanks for warming up Shirley last night, and for getting this woman 'from a Boston town' out to hear you play after too many years. Would love to hear a song from you on fly fishing.

Enjoyed both shows in Maine this week, especially hearing "Hangin' Man"...such wonderful imagery. See you next time you're around New England.
